Budget: $4,000
In this sitting room we wanted to create a warm cozy environment that was more on the feminine
side but was still inviting enough for even the manliest of men. The room serves as a quite
hideaway for reading or watching an old movie.

To add interest to the backsplash we created the look of crumbling stone by adding in the small dark stones
in an asymmetrical random pattern behind the cooktop as well as sporadically around the room. We also added
the detail of the enclosed sink area to give the feeling of a framed window box. The cook book shelf was
incorporated along with the glass upper cabinets for display to add interest.

The homeowners were moving from a large suburban home to a downtown high rise condo. The only item they wanted to take along was
their extensive collection of sculpture. The living room area rug used was the inspiration for the design. We coupled that with
the large mix media painting and keep the accessories to a minimum creating a contemporary but timeless space.
Bloomingdale, IL - 2005
Budget: $6,000
In this before an after bathroom, we added a wing wall to add privacy to the toilet. We also changed the sink area from a two sink vanity
to a single sink, allowing for additional counter space and a cleaner look. We used two shades of steel grey allowing us to highlight the
dark cabinetry and create a very upscale color scheme.
